Installation of new Channel Drains + Stormwater Pipes – Morningside

Following a recent, comprehensive CCTV inspection of our Client’s underground stormwater system, we were then in a position to present a tailored proposal for the installation of new channel drains and stormwater pipes at their Morningside property.

Our proposal outlined recommended works, including:

Replaced above ground PRV with Isolating Ball Valve and New PRV – Morningside

Our team recently carried out a series of important plumbing upgrades and repairs at a residential property in Morningside, focused on improving water pressure regulation and addressing issues with faulty pipework.

We replaced a faulty above-ground Pressure Reduction Valve (PRV) with a new isolating ball valve and PRV to improve pressure management and long-term system reliability. We then confirmed the water pressure readings: 700kPa at the front hose tap and a reduced 500kPa at the rear hose tap, indicating successful pressure regulation after the PRV replacement. We complied with Safe Work Method Statement protocols for working in roof voids, ensuring a safe and responsible approach during ceiling-level repairs. And finally removed and reconfigured faulty SDR9 cold water pipework located above the bathrooms. This section was cut out and replaced to restore proper function and flow.

Replace Faulty Shower Mixer – Sinnamon Park

As part of a recent plumbing project, we were engaged to replace a faulty shower mixer in an ensuite bathroom. The process began with carefully opening the tiled wall to access the existing mixer valve and associated copper pipework, taking care to minimise disruption to the surrounding area.

With the mains cold water supply isolated, we removed the old mixer and installed a new, high-quality replacement. All connections were tested thoroughly to ensure the system was operating correctly and free from leaks.

Once the plumbing work was complete, we repaired the wall and re-tiled the affected area, finishing with fresh grout and sealant to restore a seamless look. The site was left clean and tidy, with all rubbish and materials removed upon completion.

This job was a great example of delivering a clean, efficient upgrade while maintaining the integrity and finish of the existing bathroom.

Repaired Damaged Water Pipe – Eight Mile Plains

We were delighted to be able to assist this new Eight Mile Plains Customer when she called us with  a suspected water leak.

To address the suspected water leak, first we carefully dug up the ground around the meter to expose the service pipe. Using hand tools, the excavation was done cautiously to avoid damaging any nearby pipes or cables. Once the area was cleared, signs of leakage, such as wet soil and visible water seepage, helped identify the exact location of the damaged section.

After shutting off the main water supply, the compromised section of pipe was cut out and removed. A new section of 25mm poly pipe was then measured and cut to fit. Compression fittings were used to securely join to the existing line, ensuring a tight and leak-proof connection.

Once installed, the repair was pressure-tested to confirm the leak was resolved. The trench was then carefully backfilled and compacted, restoring the area to its original condition. This straightforward but essential repair helps prevent water loss and protects the integrity of the property’s water system.
