Our team recently carried out a series of important plumbing upgrades and repairs at a residential property in Morningside, focused on improving water pressure regulation and addressing issues with faulty pipework.
We replaced a faulty above-ground Pressure Reduction Valve (PRV) with a new isolating ball valve and PRV to improve pressure management and long-term system reliability. We then confirmed the water pressure readings: 700kPa at the front hose tap and a reduced 500kPa at the rear hose tap, indicating successful pressure regulation after the PRV replacement. We complied with Safe Work Method Statement protocols for working in roof voids, ensuring a safe and responsible approach during ceiling-level repairs. And finally removed and reconfigured faulty SDR9 cold water pipework located above the bathrooms. This section was cut out and replaced to restore proper function and flow.
